A little about me: I'm originally from Boston but now live in Illinois. I'm the Chief Training Officer for Pinstripes, Inc. I'm married with a dog. I love running. One thing I couldn't live without eating? Ice Cream.

I never thought I'd be in the Hospitality Industry. My goal was always to be a Teacher. It didn't turn out that way, but in a way I am still Teaching.
I was studying for a Masters program in Illinois when the Restaurant Bug bit me. I began my career in the hospitality industry with the J. Alexander's company where I advanced to a leadership role as a Lead Trainer. I then joined the Cenitare Restaurant Group in Wheeling IL, a high-concept restaurant group, where I participated in the opening of Tramonto's Steak and Seafood Restaurant and the RT Lounge.
In 2006, I joined the Pinstripes Team as an opening team member, and have grown within the organization over the last 13 years. I have had my hands full in leading a training role within the organization, creating systems and sops in all front-of-house operations, as well as bridging various systems between the other departments.
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree from Oberlin College and studied at Trinity International University for my Masters of Arts.

Pinstripes is a distinctive Dining/Entertainment venue featuring a from-scratch Italian American kitchen, extensive wine list, full service bowling lanes and bocce courts, and private dining space to accommodate 20-600 guests. Pinstripes opened in 2007 and currently has 10 locations with an additional 3 locations opening in 2019, and plans to open 80-100 locations nationally and multiple overseas in the upcoming years.

I'm not too proud to admit that I know what I don't know. And that's a vast majority of the Hospitality Industry. I enrolled in the UNLV MHA Program because I want to learn the expanse of what is out there.
Although I've been at a few Restaurants previously in my career, the last 13 years has been spent with Pinstripes. It's taught me a LOT. We've had to fight tooth and nail to survive during the 2008 recession. We've changed the way people interact and entertain. I've been an integral part of the company growing from one to ten locations. And I've definitely learned how to be a leader amongst the teams.
However, I'm now at a point in my career where I want to learn more. Pinstripes is only part of a small sector of Hospitality, and it is my goal to branch out and to see the industry as a whole, and to experience it from different perspectives, experiences, and lenses.
My further career goal is to teach Hospitality at a College or University to inspire the next generation to shape this great industry.
